They sort of battled. It was back before canibus was known and was in this group called THEM (The Heralds of Extreme Metaphors) with this kid called Webb. They met some members of Wu in a club outside in Atlanta and were going verse for verse with them. Killah Priest came in with a six minute verse and ended the cipher. It probably wasn't a direct battle, just everyone kicking some written shit back and forth. It was mentioned in XXL and if you look up THEM you can probably find something on it.
