I didnt even realize the ASVAB had a study guide. Have you taken it before?

I never studied for it and we took it at our school. I scored in the high 50's on it. Which is pretty good from what I've heard.

No, but I am next week. They do have books from what I've seen, so I'd figure someone might have a PDF on it.



You took the "AFQT". A 1/4 length practice ASVAB is all it is, minus sections in Mechanics and most sciences, which I have taken quite a few times myself. If you scored in the high 50's then it means you have a high school education/GED, and is what or around high school graduates usually score.

No I took the real thing. The military came to my school and gave us the real ASVAB test.

Yea I took it my soph. year of highschool and scored a 78 but I bombed the part on mechanics and car bullshit. We didnt study for it at all if I remember correctly

I'm taking it for the Army next week. It'll be the same thing for me lol, I will fail Cars/Mechanics and Sciences. I'm looking at something Infantry and go to Iraq. That is if I finish AIT early enough.

Hands as a friend who was in the military.. Man.. dont do it..Your gonna waste 8 years of your life and recruiters dont tell u that shit. And trust me.. Once you're in you feel like you're in jail. It's like a prison that allows you to do things on your off time. But when they need you gotta do everything they say. Just go to college man.. Trust me... Im glad to be a civilian again... I'LL NEVER FUCKING DO THAT SHIT AGAIN...

What branch were you in? And what did you work as?

I wanna say like 3 or 4 hours but it was a while ago so I don't remember exactly.

I was in the navy and my rate was PR. Parachute Rigger.. Dont do it man.. If you love the whole concept of patriotism thing then go for it!! But if you love your freedom stay a civilian man...I got out but on good terms. I would never do that shit again..
