Full Version: Medieval poem/story on death

It's about how Death "caught" a some men in the woods, then 3 people go try to find Death, but they find gold where the other men have died. They try to figure out how to split the wealth, then they get greedy and somehow they all end up dying. Basically the theme is if you search for death, you'll find it. The story was supposed to be the 1st out of 4 from some guy who owns a inn(something like that)

Anyone familiar with this poem/story?

Yeah, it's from the Canterbury Tales - The Pardoner's Tale.
