Before I take a picture, I do what I'm doing in this picture. I survey the area.

I took this picture before I took "Voodoo Man." It's a glimpse into the creation process, whether you see that or not. Others have -- many others have -- so one dude accusing me of forcing my hand is nothin'.

So, whether you see it as me trying to be "artsy," as you say, or not bothers me very, very little.

I'd really like to agree with you here, but I feel as though you've missed the overarching Lamarckian expression here.
