That is my life.
I take shits in the basement. The basement is empty, but it's where I shit.
I use the tripod.
Before I take a picture, I do what I'm doing in this picture. I survey the area.
I took this picture before I took "Voodoo Man." It's a glimpse into the creation process, whether you see that or not. Others have -- many others have -- so one dude accusing me of forcing my hand is nothin'.
So, whether you see it as me trying to be "artsy," as you say, or not bothers me very, very little.
That's all.
Thanks for the feedback, though. I love the haters.
You made a myriad of assumptions and it just so happens that ALL OF THEM were wrong.
I'm not usually an asshole or a mean guy, but fuck you.
See, I wouldve accepted this rebuttal post of yours as completely rational, and wouldve shut the fuck up, had you not gone the twelve-year-old-girl route of calling me a " hater "
simply because I think youre trying to hard to be artsy.
Your work is seriously contrived, youre trying too hard to have " meaning "
Your entire body of work wouldnt be good enough to place on a Happy Meal box.
Cause its first year photography.
I was taking shots like those in seventh grade for Graph-Arts class.
Now, you can tell me to go fuck myself til the cows come home, but in my opinion, this shot sucks ass, and these guys can try to find correlations to shapes/mystical horses/ but at the end of the day, its all mundane, and aggressively mediocre.
Oh, and another thing, if your going to try to be a serious artist, LEARN to take criticism and learn from it, telling critics " fuck you " is a sure fire way to remain artistically stagnant.
