i'm undecided so far..it seems like a tie.. both started out strong and sorta trailed off at the end.. Desi had slightly more wordplay and vocab and Objective had the better flow and structure.. i really don't like to call ties but as of now that's were i'm at.. i'ma reread 'em and see what's good.. but for now i gotta say tie

he's mad cuz i voted against him in the other thread, but that was honest feed, whatever tho it is what it is.

I think part of the reason you are all struggling so much is that you are using the wrong rating system!

PERSONALS: DESI objective had a few which may have been more 'hard hitting' and i think he did well but desi just had more line for line.. it was close though.
PUNCHLINES: DESI no Objective lines really stood out to me as much as a few of desi's did..
FLOW: OBJECTIVE This was a little harder because desi's scheme wasn't the regular a/a/b/b/c/c but because it is text that worked against him.. i didn't like objectives post/lost rhyme though but overall i think i was flowing to his rhymes better.
VOCAB & WORDPLAY: DESI again.. greater vocab and also good syntax which is respectable.
OVERALL: DESI the breakdown probably looks deceivingly one sided but i did think this was a very close battle. props to both!

First 5 lines of Desi's weren't insults directed at his opponent. You're supposed to be a cunt, Desi, not write like a Jane Austen novel, ffs. Objective's verse wasn't nasty by any means, but he did what you're supposed to do- insulted Desi in every line. Just a pity they were shitty disses about playing x-box and littered with poor grammar and below-average rhyming. Desi's closer was what swung it for me. Up until those two lines I was voting for Objective purely on the principle that he did the right thing, only he executed it poorly.

Sorry if I don't use the system of Flow, Punches, etc. I just call 'em how I see 'em. I look at how many insults get thrown and how nasty they are. Desi had the better of all the categories, but he didn't start dissing until a third of the way through, so that made it really close for me.

You explain your vote. The system is there so I can try to see if someone is casting a hate vote. I know you're objective here, and you tend to always call them as they are and as I see them.

Anyway
