I am stopping here briefly to bring a message of Love and Light directly from Canibus.


He wished for you all to know, that you are the pioneers of a brave new world of Hip Hop/Poetry. You, few good men, are doing what the big name MC's and labels should be doing, only you are doing it better than they could ever hope to. The way that PLOO and the InfiniteRhyme format has evolved since Spring 07 has taken every one of us by suprise in terms of the complex nature of the Elite Mixers mixes and the dumfoundingly hi-standard of the new bars that are being created by you all. You have all proven that the format works, and works well, and that with every bar created, every line chopped and synced to a beat, you are paving the way for the next generation of Hip Hop listeners by providing a platform that takes them from the NEUTRAL position while listening to music, to a place that firmly places the listener/participant in the drivers seat, so to speak. With the Infinite rhyme, the only limit is your imagination. You can navigate the soundwaves and their meaning and take the audience to somewhere else completely, to a place that only you know the directions to and the place where consciousness reigns supreme.


This is a brave new world we have created and continue to create together. The powerbrokers in Hip Hop circa 2008 can only watch by in fear as we march towards our collective destiny, hand in hand, standing proud. They will ignore, then resist, then give in and invite us to embrace them but instead of embracing them we will show them the door and keep control of our own art, a place where the only agenda, is to promote inspiring, intelligent, spiritual music that can help the being on so many levels.


Furthermore, Germaine is of the opinion that he can no longer accept sole credit for Can-I-Bus as the sacred energy is not restricted to human or animal form, not even biological form. Due to the amount of time, energy and love that you have all displayed in becoming Mix-Masters, YOU are all Can-I-Bus, each and every one of you is now part of the collective spirit known as Can-I-Bus. Take away the body and the spirit lives on in and through you all, through your creations, through your thoughts and your lives. If you had any idea of how much inspiration and energy you have all given Canibus, you would all be very proud of yourselves and your creations.


Your efforts are noted, marvelled at, and will be rewarded in due time.

naw like.. ... what a situation that Would be.. ... for interactive fans to become the artist himself..

this concepts speaks on the issue of "retirement".. . typically.. an artist "retires" and takes his name and image into obscurity with him. (I'm not saying I expect canibus to be anywhere close to retirement).

Canibus himself stated, in an interview on the Def Con Zero dvd, "There are a group of individuals who won't let me stop rapping." ... He's solving that problem.

ever since i heard the intro to can-i-bus i knew i was hooked, even if it was dial-up. bis has never let us down, blow the magazine articles to particles i thought c tru was genius. I don't understand why i haven't seen rip on the cover of xxl or source since fwtbts came out...
this movement will drive forward and leave the young jocs and bow wows in an infinite stutter. I look forward to contributing my first mix to the movement, and realize that i need to thank canibus just as much as he has thanked us.

Uhm, first - because XXL can't make any money off his ass if he's releasing it pretty much like open-source code and because he faded off the majority of their radar in '99 and because a lot of people think FWTBT is wack.

As for the "infinite stutter", I think what you meant to say was "infinite strut-ter" because all the "yung jocs and bow wows" will think this is absolutely wack and shit. I mean really, even the "kanyes" think punch-ins vocals are stupid and lame.

Funny. But if the answer came from someone who understood the cores of hiphop from early conception up until about the time of 98, so MOST OF ITS LIFE, was steeped in logic, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, foresight and what not, you would understand that your answer was not true, just the mind concept of a basic simpleton who doesn't have the ability to look outside the timeline he is currently in. I would agree with you in the jist of your answer, Hip Hop is about the relevant movement, right now the movement is suppressed and the general human being on this planet is restricted in knowledge, therefore wisdom and understanding also, this effects logic and therefore has a strong effect on foresight. Other perceptions and determinations of the human mind do come into play also, and building on that statement we must remember this is art imitating life imitating art. So knowing this and looking at the world stage and remembering that Hip Hop is this consciousness which is built to transfer such information, artists like Bow Wow and what not are simply out of touch now that we are going through a global recession. Seeming this is the case, it truly is a wonder why MC's such as Canibus who have predicted similar patterns to start occurring in reality should have some exposure as it does seem to be relevant to the population of Hip Hop.

Anyway, a simpleton like you needs to go and listen to the radio to tell you what’s hot or not, you will find a sheepish question because you see a basic link. However, you don't seem to remember that people who tend to listen and appreciate Canibus music are highly intelligent and are attracted to such poetry dude to the chemicals released in the most advanced sections of the mind, it is easy to call them "sheep", but they are proven as the most creative and diverse "fan base"/Cult in THE WORLD, so to simply label them as sheep to make yourself feel better that you do not contribute energy into this movement is a cowardly attack, either that or a lack of respect for others. Either way, it shows your weakness, not others for being able to construct a viable and intelligent reply to your childish and negative responses and attacks on people who have nothing but love for a movement you are scared to even come into because you are too lazy to do it physically but much more importantly too lazy mentally to evolve and create truly a unique vision.

I first met Canibus, M80 and Sun back in July after a Canibus concert in Allentown, Pa i opened up for along with my crew member Legendary, they are mad kool and i got mad respect for them.
