How about you morons actually look into what 2012 means
and I guarantee you wouldn't by saying dumb shit as
'is the next 4 years the last on earth'.
Kevin Lomax
The Egyptian calendar ended May 5 1999 and the Egyptians were way cooler than the Mayans. And besides me turning 18 nothing happend on that date.

i must say... it seems pretty narrow minded to think in the world's countless billions of year existance, it will end in the not-even blip it time that is your life.

i've survived many apocolypses in my life time already, so i've grown tired of worrying about them. Like... the original transformers movie started off with
"it was the year 2005, the world was taken over by robots", its all hype of people thinking the history of time revolves around their life span
The Sophist
Don't worry, if it happens it happens.

I wouldn't want to be the last person on earth without anyone to keep me company
InfiNycto
lol i also find it funny that people are taking some ancient profecy so seriously. i mean they were good at math and all but hadnt even discovered electricy at the time. its not like they were technologically advanced or anything
Raider
the world will end once our Sun has run out of Hydrogen in its core and moves up from being a Main Sequence Star to the asymptotic/horizontal/red giant phases, when it eventually engulfs the Earth. The last I checked, that won't be happening for another several billion years excl.gif
Vizion
There will always been life.
