I've been wanting to make this topic for a while, when you guys aren't listening to Hip Hop, what are you listening to? What are some of your favorite songs or albums? Who's your favorite singer or musician?
Drop some links or videos or just name off some of your fave's...
I'm going to add a bunch of music to this later when I have more time.

Rolling Stones are amazing no question, one of my all time fave's...
I have a HUGE collection of music that gets bigger everyday but as of right now I'm mostly into classic rock:
Steely Dan
Allman Brothers Band
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (Also their solo work)
The Doors
Grateful Dead
Janis Joplin
Cream (Clapton is in a league of his own...)
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
Funkadelic
The Beatles
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Van Morrison
The Who
The Band
Jackson Browne
The Eagles
Bob Dylan
Chicago's early stuff
Mellow:
Neil Young
Ben Harper
Jack Johnson
G Love & Special Sauce
Bob Marley & The Wailers
Tanya Stephens
Billy Joel circa Piano Man & The Stranger.. Fuck his later shit
Paul Simon
Elton John
Stevie Wonder
Heavy:
Sabbath
Maiden
Metallica
Megadeth
Rage Against the Machine - I sorta wore them out years ago but I still love to crank it up every onc in a while...
Black Label Society
The list will literally go on for days but that's the just of it...
Favorite Albums as of right now:
Billy Joel - The Stranger

Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill
G Love' Lemonade

Favorite Bands as of right now:

Damn how could I forget BB King..? Oh well, while we're on that subject:
Buddy Guy
Gill Scott Heron
Robert Cray
Stevie Ray & Jimmie Vaughan
Robert Lockwood Jr.
James Brown
Also the Chili Peppers are awesome. Blood Sugar Sex Magic, By The Way & Stadium Arcadium are all really great albums as well. Flea is a maniac on bass and John Frusciante is great at guitar. Frusciante also has several solo albums which are pretty good, completely different style than the Chilis but good none the less. His latest solo album was just released and is called The Empyrean which is a concept album, The Empyrean meaning "The Highest Heaven". And did anyone else know that when the Chili's first started out they were managed by George Clinton? Their first four albums were on some Funk/Hip Hop/Heavy Metal shit which you can see a slight presence of on Blood Sugar Sex Magic. I'm inthe middle of Anthony Kiedis' (Lead Singer of The Chilis) autobiography "Scar Tissue" and so far it is fucking amazing. You never really understand the shit these guys go through until you read about it first hand, that dude has had the most unbelievable life and that book is a must read for any fan of Rock or music in general.
Oh yeah and on my list I forgot to mention Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sublime, Damian, Stephen & Ziggy Marley, Zack Gill and Boston.

I'm sure you get the point there...then as embarrassing as it is I love the 80's..Some odd reason I really like smokey Robinson, The Isley Brothers, Anthony Hamilton....Then moving away from that I listen also to ALOT of Tamil and Swahili Hip hop Yes I can speak both languages so I understand what they are saying. Both of their Hip Hop is way better than American hip hop hands down. I also like some metal especially Tamil Metal. That's just my favourite musical tastes that I keep on deck on the cd changer. I also listen to alot more such as classical, jazz, dub, ska, etc...I know I'm a lame bitch.

Classic Rock all the way. Beatles, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix etc.. Can't go wrong. I'm also big into Blue Grass and Jam Bands. Ekoostik Hookah, Railroad Earth, Donna the Buffalo. I'll listen to almost any kind of music except death metal, most country, and most pop. Early 90s alternative rock was prime as well, but most stuff today blows.
