Basically this is a recap of Canibus news and cc threads lately. Rumors not included.

UPDATES: February - April 2009
As usual, Canibus been keeping busy the last couple months. PLUS most of the rumors that have been circulating have been verified.
So what's the timeline look like?
Canibus dropped in to Conspiracy Worldwide radio on February 20th for a rare interview. The discussion focused on the mysterious mindset of the Canibus man, giving his St. Germaine perspective a chance to express a message of hope and positivity for Hip-hop. Here is part one of the 5 part interview on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThBb_rblaLk
Almost foreshadowing, he delivered a discussion about unity and building with artists as a contrast to beef and everything else that divides the culture. I call it foreshadowing because after this interview we were hit with a storm of confirmed collabs. Very little was actually said about Canibus' known upcoming album projects, but I guess now we know why. You can always get the most solid confirmed facts right here in this blog, anyway, so it's always good to hear the Canibus man speaking philosophically about hip hop.
First up on the confirmed list: Erick Sermon on MTV verified that Canibus & Keith Murray called him to put a collaborative album together. Sermon called the album a "dope mixture" of lyrical content from both artists that's "only for heads" with "not one radio record on there. Just rhymes and concepts of rhymes." Sick.
I don't think I can embed video from MTV so click here to view: http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/359676/eric...s-collabo.jhtml
M80, the A&R Extraordinaire, shot a video blog from Miami in which Canibus made a quick appearance and confidently stated (of the Keith Murray collab) that "I'mma let the lyrics speak for themselves." (video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRUQMeMXKCI )
The Keith Murray and Canibus duo will be called The Undergodz which builds on the motif with M80 and the larger Almighty group that Canibus and Murray joined last year. Here is a must see video of the A&R Extraordinaire giving us a tour of the awesome (and legendary) Seattle music studio where The Undergodz is being recorded. After seeing that studio, and the quotes from Sermon and Canibus himself, if you are still not excited about this album then you need your head examined.

Also confirmed: Canibus and Kool G Rap collab album executive produced by Domingo. All I can say about this collab is WOW. Their previous team up created the epic "Gun Ho City"

Both artists are considered all time great lyricists. This news emerging right on the back of the Undergodz news should have any Hip Hop aficionado affixed. This is going to be a busy year so you won't have to be patient for too long.
Meanwhile another new collaborative track has emerged via Myspace. Props to Fatol for putting together a head nodding banger over a hard hitting beat (produced by Otitis) and having the rhymes to keep up with the undergod. Listen to The Impact f/ Canibus at Fatol's myspace here: http://myspace.com/fatol
Speaking of Myspace, Sun's blog there dropped a hint about the upcoming Sharpshooters collab album. Indicating a summer 2009 release.
Diabolic also has completed a collab track with Canibus to be released on his upcoming album titled Liar and a Thief. The track is titled In Common f/ Canibus and produced by Sivey.
Somewhat related is this Youtube of Diabolic kicking a sick 60 bars as part of a 360 bar "full circle." He makes reference to Beast from the East battles coming soon. Not that Canibus is involved on that aspect (as far as I know) with Diabolic but this spit is definitely something to check out, the dude is sick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iPRsy0hzck
