With some encouragement from the inventor of the Infinite Rhyme himself, Presto has now embarked on crafting his own piece of Infinity. To start things off Pres' wanted to get some practice under his belt before tackling the full thing, so he decided to take four bars from something he wrote previously and make three mirrored layers of it. Presto's still trying to wrap his head around the infinite concept (like pretty much all of us are), so please mix this up and show him whats possible and of course constructive criticism is welcomed because I'm sure Pres' would appreciate any ideas that can help make his rendition of Infinity as good as it possibly can be. I can tell you though, from the few ideas he pitched to me, THIS SHIT WILL BE EPIC.


Plus the lyrics for each layer:

Layer 1 verse: debate a masonic apologist on many topics from Theophilus in front of a group of Oxford college kids my knowledge is that of an astrotheologist calculating equations to measure the radius of a comets hit

Layer 2 verse: relate the same topic to honor this with heavy knowledge man i'm droppin' this with an abundance of truth no breaking promises hypothesis of planets that clash slow with comets is ascertaining invasions benevolent super sonic shit

Layer 3 verse: finagle plane cockpits I'm bombin' it pick any moshpit then demolish it when i'm in the booth with proper confidence a novelist smackin' these wack hoes for talkin' shit agitating my patients who ever could hang with this thug-a-nomic spit

Layer 4 verse: i pray to pay homage to god with this projecting powers through the cognitive commit to induce the logical proper shit pre dominant pacifist cash flow economist masquerading amazing who ever could pay me kid if you honor this

Wow, just reading the lyrics this is a really advanced form of Infinity as basically every word rhymes with the words parallel to it.

I always thought Eminem would make an amazing Infinite song. Obviously the poetry wouldn't be as advanced as say PLOO, but in terms of matching rhyme schemes it would be ridiculous. And I do think perfectly matched rhyme schemes in each parallel bar like Presto's has done is what will elevate the Bar War concept. I'm sure we will see more advanced versions of Infinity on RTJII Infinity as well

Gonna download now and make a few timeline mixes. It's good to see MCs like Presto attempting their own Bar War songs.

Sounds interesting, but, the link for the mix is down, can't really hear what you've crafted.

Edit: I just heard it, nice, I like how it works, would be interesting to mess about with it.

I'm LOVING what everyone has done so far!! Within a day of posting we have four really dope mixes. K.I.'s beat fit real nicely with vocals and made that shit sound real smooth. Oobe took her lyrical crafts(wo)manship that she usually employs on PLOO and makes a killer verse. Harjot takes a beat Crooked killed and makes a deadly mix. And JVLN graces us with his mixing ability once again and does what he has mastered and inverts the lyrics to create some sick lines.

I'll be adding any new mixes to my first post from now on, keep it up my Brothers and Sisters.

I'm loving the mixes Ferd, those two you posted are very goog. The samples blend nicely with the beats and the content in the lyrics. Flow is good, could be a bit tighter, but it's nice and not irritating or anything, so it's good.

Thanks for the comments from KG and XPreNN about the mixes, its nice to get some feedback from the mix. I've gone around each bar 8 times now, for 4 layers, thats about as much you can drain from it, there's probably a cycle left there somewhere at best.

I feel we need more layers than 5 and even 6, all working well, this would be a treat for any mixer and would be seen as an upgrade, if Presto is up for a challenge like that, with 7 or 8 layers, you could probably go around a good 10 to 20 times, maybe even more, without touching the same bar again. I know personally, I want more to work with by the end of the week, maybe he can give it out in installments as he writes it and allow the mixing brothers to mix the bars in the coming weeks, each week or so with something new.

Personally, I just love Infinity, and any new rhyme would be welcome and as long as the love is shown then we can grow, as ever, PEACE,

I'm desperate for Bis to release RTJ II Track 10 on a mixing board with a few more layers. And not even to mix on Acid straight away. I just wanna play around with them first on their actual mixing boards over the original beat til I get bored.

Imagine the boards could be embedded on any web page so people could play with it anywhere. Hip Hop sites could just post the mixing board rather than ripping each layer and pasting them side by side like they did with PLOO.

I agree with KI, This does need to be pinned. Hopefully when other artists see that theres a audience for infinity rhymes and people are more than willing to make brand new songs with their lyrics, hopefully other artists will start to make infinity songs and start to embrace the infinity format.
