Since the RTJ instrumental LP was released a while back, I was wondering if any of CC's mixers have had the chance to rip the a cappellas from RTJ? I know Bis sent Stoupe his a cappellas, but i dont think those have been released.

Anyways, if someone could try to rip the a cappellas and upload em here, i'd really appreciate it. i know Karma and Omni are pretty good at that kinda stuff.

although that would be dope i gotta say remixing that album may be futile- stoupe put perfect beats to those lyrics and that album is absolutely perfect as it is.

How would you do it yourself? What's the process of getting the them off a mastered track.

with the right prog,u play the instrus vs the complete tracks,and u can isolate whats not on the instrus.its magik

both need to be the original retail copies and OMNI will release the acapellas.

The quality of your acapellas wont be good...not as easy as ripping other acapellas cuz the rtj instrumental lp is only 98% mastered, so by lining up tracks off rtj lp and those rtj instrumentals youll find out that they are very different. Itll take a while just to get 1 good rtj acapella.

i'll have to try to upload it again...the .RAR i was tryin to upload was like 350 MB, and after an hour of uploading, fuckin mediafire told me it can't be done since i dont have an account...

so tonight im gonna split em up and upload em in parts.

Dante you could upload to Megaupload, there max upload for non-members is like 1GB I think, which would mean you wouldn't have to split it up. Plus I find that their servers seem to work faster for me.

i got them off of iTunes, so i have the mp3s, but no .WAVs.........i could convert them to .wav but i dont think that would have the same quality

^yes it would as the frequency's on wav's would allow you to cancel out the extra sounds in the retail album.

trust me k.i if someone has the retail version of the instrumentals i will bet u i can made a better acapella than using the .mp3 version.

But the mp3s of instru lp are only 75% close to 2003 rtj lp beats and even the retail instru lp might only be 90-95%, cuz a random engineer just equalized his beats this year (bass is fucked up, some instruments are louder, etc)...but only stoupe and HIS engineer has the 100% versions. If that came out, we could all make 10 almost perfect d.i.y. rtj acapellas.
