This isn't just M-80 gassing up a record that he's a part of, I've heard from someone who was also at the studio those couple nights and they said it was the best material they've ever heard from Bis. Mind you they are a big fan of the Can man as well. So believe the hype for this album.

I have to say I'm very skeptical of this shit.
Maybe it's because the CoT tracks have convinced me that
it would be almost impossible to top something of that caliber, i.e:
Merchant of Metaphors, Lunar Deluge, Worthlessness Purpose,
Cpt. Cold Crush, Pine Cone poem and of course Cingularity Point.

I think he set the bar to high...

the bar was below basic - I HAD TO RAISE IT!

time to start posting this video everywhere!

so will you be answering questions we ask in this forum? or will you just be answering general album questions that fans typically have (ie. features, production, etc.)?

Great post. Cant wait to hear more about this record. For me, every Canibus release is highly anticipated. The only problem is, that his albums are not available in our record stores. I try to order them from Amazon, but they dont ship here.

I know right, the last Canibus album I actually bought was Rip The Jacker, when I was in Connecticut four summers ago.

i'm very excited about this album but i've set my expectations extremely low for it... we were led to believe that the undergods project was going to be a game changer as well and it wasn't, that product was simply okay.

Because OBVIOUSLY the EP which is 6 tracks is the same as a 20 track album with the final cuts, DUH!

Come on KG, use some common sense, join the mob!

I can't speak on any other projects except the ones we put out, but I can tell you that The War Lab is not committed to just putting out "regular" records, in an industry saturated with mediocre shit. We're only interested in kicking up dust, making noise and waging war. We're not a conventional record label and we will not release conventional products. Not while I'm around.

F.a.T
We don't even use Conventional Ovens.

for a guy that refers to himself as "knowledge God" you, apparently, aren't too bright... anyone with their head not stuck up Canibus' ass can tell that i'm talking about the EP that was released... i never mentioned the LP....whether it were a song, mixtape, EP or LP, we were told to expect greatness from the undergods and i found that the EP or "mini album" whatever you want to call it, was not that impressive.... and for you to completely dismiss the EP as if it doesn't count for anything is very ignorant.

So we are ignorant for not judging 20 tracks we haven't heard because we heard 6 which we were told were the one's which didn't make the final cut but were used to give a taste of what may come.

6 Tracks which were diverse and had some cool collab's.

I'm not going to call you ignorant, instead, I'll use the word erm....................dongle!

I use to call this dude at Hackney Wick Market in a cockney accent a dongle all the time, its an endearing term.

Where did Bis or Murray say that? Link please.

Also, if you're saying releasing an EP, which is supposed to be a preview of what's to come, was put out knowing that these were the weakest cuts then thats a shame. It makes a seem that Undergods don't care about their fan base if they SELL throwaway tracks.

You need bis or murray to tell you what's pretty obvious?

They sold an EP, extended play, which sounds like tracks which would have been made after production of the other tracks, they sound very mainstream Hip Hop style and not the deeper darker lyrics both of them are known for.

EP stands for EXTENDED play.

LP stands for Long Play.

The EP was something fun and a taste of what is to come, it is not the LP, the EP had tracks of different styles and moods.

If you feel an EP is the same as the LP which is 3 times its length, then that isn't normal. I think if we break down the concepts brought forward in them records, and the lyrical content, its quite clear that the pair have a lot waiting for us in the full album, rather than "throw away tracks" or however you wish to call them, they wrote much of the work in the studio while recording, the whole thing was written in 2 weeks, I personally highly doubt that the best of them cuts were used for the EP.

To claim that they were simply doesn't follow logic or what an EP and LP are about, the two are different and used for different purposes in terms of marketing and promotion. For example, you wouldn't advertise an EP to death, for one you wouldn't get much returned as the LP is more expensive, also, seeming that the pair have no clout together as a unit, this will also change that.

Seeming that M-80 is on the case with this one, I am more than sure the dude wouldn't let the best be served up first, but don't quiz me, mail M-80, he's a very reachable type of guy and see what he has to say, you can say I'm psychic because without even asking I know the answer.

Does that make me some sort of amazing being OR someone who's able to use logic rather than wild claims which don't really add up.

Peace,

Ferdowsi

No, I don't need you to speak on anyone else's behalf. You posted a comment and I want to see where it stems from. If its just your opinion, then say so before yo post the statement. I don't need defination of EP/LP, if you look at how EPs are and have been used, they are promo tools for the upcoming project.

You are taking this convo in a different direction than what I asked in my last post, no need for 40 lines response with smart ass comments, try a simple straight forward answer for once please.

I hear what you're saying about an EP man, but you do have to admit that you don't put your best shit on them. If you didn't save your best shit for the LP then you're an idiot. I thought the EP was a good sample of what's to come. I didn't like all the tracks, but again it's an EP. Wait for the LP and let's pass judgment then.

I'm sure Ferdowsi didn't mean any disrespect, he's just being a smart ass like you said.

The year 2009 also marks 1000 years since Ferdowsi completed the final draft of the ShahNameh.

I wasn't being a smart ass, just applying logic to the situation, thus crazy for being called ignorant to assume we will get MORE lyrics on 20 tracks than 7, and logical also to assume that they will be of a better quality and obviously subject matter coming from what is already anchored from the EP.

If you assume Keith Murray and Canibus have created probably 20 albums in their time, its also logical to assume they've been very professional about this also.

These are logical assumptions, where someone who claims I'm a dickrider or this and that aren't actually logical, but we don't live in a completely logical society do we?

The November Countdown is ON!

It is logical to attach what we know to what is fact and past experiances, Every November there's another countdown, God I love this clock!

When will M-80 shave his head?

Can we have some answers PLEASE?

Ferdowsi
EWS
Heres a few good questions for M80 & DZK that can get this MM party started:

- What is the official tracklist?

- If the public can see the album cover?

- General style & direction of album, What is the album like? (concept like fwtbt? or battle like 2000bc? or straight rhymes like micclub? ect)

props to whoever can help out and answer these questions. Thanks
